My Goldfish Pond

My first Illustration-y project for my Illustration Major. Yay! After a good full year in foundation: drawing only from life, creating modern art(which I almost always failed at doing properly,) hoarding sticks that I took from ground to use as free material needed to create that modern art ,And later hearing some Frat Boys from another college make fun of us for grabbing sticks off of the ground---- (I wasn't the only one with a stick collection. Everyone had a stick collection.)

There are countless other things about last year to complain about. But Now, I get to do a picture from imagination!

The theme was Another Place, Another Time. It was a very open concept: the only limitations being the size (16x20), medium (charcoal, graphite, or black prismacolor,) and it had to be in a vertical format. I eventually came up with miniature mermaids, living in a goldfish pond. This is the result ^.^ Critiques are welcome, although there are some problems I'm already aware of.
