An Angel to Watch Over Us

It's done! Finally! This took me forever to do... I don't know how many hours, but it was probably over twenty hours. I worked on this off and on all summer, working on it a few hours at a time, until I finished.

This is my Gaia online avatar. It had been years since I last drew her and a while ago I decided to draw her again. This, after many hours of leisurely labor is the result. Many different coloring techniques went in to this picture; it was used to practice digital coloring, overall lighting, mood etc. (anatomy not included.....) Although I hadn't intended for this to be a learning piece, it quickly became so as I worked to make it better and pretty ^_^ I was mainly focusing on the overall mood of the picture.
